Can I scrape Amazon prices with residential proxies?
Yes. Amazon uses Cloudflare and its own bot detection. Residential IPs from genuine ISPs bypass these checks reliably. For Amazon, use rotating residential IPs — sticky sessions are not required for product page requests.
How often can I poll pricing data?
With rotating residential IPs, you can safely poll pricing data every 1–5 minutes per product without triggering bans. For very high-frequency monitoring, distribute requests across more concurrent connections.
Do I need geo-targeting for price monitoring?
Yes if you need local prices. Amazon, Walmart, and most retailers show different prices based on your location. Use -country-us for US pricing, -country-gb for UK, and so on to collect accurate local market data.
Is datacenter fast enough for price monitoring?
